We believe . . .
- that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
- that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
- that God creates this gift of faith in us through the Holy Spirit, who works in and for His people through the Word and the Sacraments.
- that the Bible alone is the source of the Church's teaching, and that the Lutheran Confessions are a right and true exposition of it.
